Dirty Market Summer Workshops

Hello! We are running two workshops this Summer in our studio at 6 Grace's Mews, Camberwell:

Creativity Workshops

Both workshops include:

1. LIFE STORIES - working with the participant's life experience as tool and inspiration for performance (exploring personal experiences, discovering and following impulses, identifying and releasing blocks, connecting to and receiving from others, expressing and playing with emotions).

2. CRAFT WORK - giving you the knowledge r

equired to shape and focus your performance material. Using some of the language of contemporary performance, we will help you to develop your own voice as a performer (experience new performance practices, play with the space, expand your expectations of the audience/performer relationship).

DATES: In order to give you different options (to fit around busy lives!), we are going to run two separate workshops - one will run over a week of evenings, the other will be a three day intensive.

WORKSHOP ONE: 5 evenings (7pm-10pm): 27th-31st July 2015 WORKSHOP TWO: 3 day intensive (10am-4pm): 1st-3rd August 2015
